When creating your ticket sales page, it is important that you make it easy to navigate for your customers by having it contain all the pertinent information for your event. The last thing you want as an event manager is for your customers to be confused when they are trying to find out information on the event, or give up and not purchase a ticket at all!
There are a few things to keep in mind when making your ticket sales page – in order to render it visually appealing as well as contain all the information needed.
Make sure all the basic information is there. Sometimes we get so worried about how the page looks, that we forget to put the date and time of the event on the page!
• Accurate venue name and address – make sure the address you use actually takes your ticket buyers to your event location, as most of them end up mapping out the location beforehand.
• Appropriate contact information such as phone numbers, email and names for your ticket buyers to use – in case they have any questions. If you have a website, make sure to include that as well.
• Be sure to include the date and time of the event, and the specific times of each day if your event is multi-day.
Make sure you have all of the appropriate and helpful ticket information.
• Include price and any special discounts.
• If you have different tiers of ticketing such as VIP, Early Entry, Buy one get one, General Admission, etc. it is important and helpful to your customers to include all of the details of what each ticket entails. For example: Free merchandise, earlier entry into the venue, reserved seating, special concert experiences, time door opens for each event, etc.
Be creative with your ticketing page! Make it visually appealing with graphics, photos and anything else you can think of.
