Point Mugu Air Show succeeds with the support and participation of volunteers in all aspects of the show’s production. Friendships are built and memories are made during the shared experience of presenting this event to the public.
We invite all members of the community 16 years old+ to apply for available positions.
Get involved in a fundraising opportunity at the Point Mugu Air Show, March 18-19, 2023.
WHO
Any groups or organizations wishing to raise funds for charities or clubs. Organizations may staff a merchandise or food booth at the event. The minimum age requirement for insurance purposes is 16 years old.
WHAT
Concession booths will be set up and maintained by The Air Show Network, with all product and inventory provided. Concessions volunteer requirements vary per day (see below) and groups must be prepared to staff their booths for both days of the event. Due to traffic and parking challenges, shifts are not permitted – full day volunteers are required. Groups will receive 8-10% of the gross sales after sales tax from concessions depending on type of booth operated.
Food – 22 ONLY 10 BOOTHS LEFT! – 12 volunteers – 10% paid

WHEN
Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th, 2023
Registration/Check-in is at 6:30am for team leads and 7:00am for all other volunteers
Booths open at 8:00am
Training session for team leads only will be Wednesday, March 15 – early evening. Exact time and location TBA

To register your group, please click here. Be sure to have your Tax Exempt Federal ID# to complete the application process. Once your group is approved, you will receive an email confirmation from laura@airshownetwork.com. Due to traffic and parking challenges, shifts are not permitted – full day volunteers are required.
FLIGHT LINE CLUB (CHALETS)
FULL
Volunteers for this area will greet patrons and check credentials before the patron enters this special reserved area. Customer service is key in this position.
• 10 Volunteers needed per day
• Ideally working both days
• Outdoor position all day, mostly a standing position with occasional seated tasks
• Shift time – 7:00am – 5:00pm
• $15.00 per man hour
RESERVED BOX SEATING AMBASSADORS
FULL
Volunteers for this area will greet patrons and check their seat assignments before the patron enters the seating area. Customer service is key in this position.
• 10 volunteers needed per day
• Ideally working both days
• Outdoor position all day, mostly a standing position with occasional seated tasks
• Shift time – 7:00am – 5:00pm
• $15.00 per man hour
