Two Tennessee fairs, supported by AttendStar, achieved remarkable success at the 102nd Tennessee Association of Fairs (TAF) Convention, held January 18-20, 2024. The Dyer County Fair was honored as the Champion of Champions Fair of 2023, while the Lincoln County Fair earned the Division AA State Champion Title.
The annual convention was attended by approximately 850 people who gathered to celebrate the best of Tennessee’s fairs. The fairs are evaluated on agriculture, education, community participation, programs, and appearance. This year, 49 fairs received the Award of Merit for their exceptional community contributions. The Champion of Champions award is reserved for the top fair selected from the three 2022 division winners. The Dyer County Fair’s recognition cements its status as a leader in agricultural education and community engagement.
Agriculture Commissioner Charlie Hatcher, D.V.M., said,” Our fairs exemplify the pinnacle of agricultural education outreach. We celebrate a rich history of farms and forests in Tennessee.
